The eminent victor, Alexander 'the
Great', said on the
day he kicked the bucket: "I
needed to overcome the world, however demise has
vanquished me! It is a compassion
that I couldn't get from life the comfort that is available even
to a normal person!"
Towards the end of his life,
Napoleon Bonaparte offered vent to his sentiments of
dissatisfaction and disillusionment therefore: "Disappointment was a
wrong doing to me, however today, I'm the most disappointed of men on earth. I
was hungry for two things: power and love. I obtained power, yet
it soon left me. I hunt down adoration, yet I never discovered it.
On the off chance that what I have
from life is all that there is to it, human life is trivial, as its end is
only disappointment and decimation."
The Abbasid Caliph Harun al-Rasheed
ruled over a realm the size of which was vast to the point that it
was said that the sun never determined to it. In any case amid his
last days, he said: "I looked for comfort for the duration of
my life, yet futile. I have carried on a life loaded with
uneasiness and torment. Not for a solitary day have I been calm.
Presently I have come to the edge of death, the grave is holding
up to eat up my body."
This is the end of each person.
However everybody disregards his end. At the point when the Caliph
AlMansur Abbasi drew nearer his end, he said:
"Had I carried on somewhat
more, I would have set such domains on fire as made me go amiss
Often times from the way of truth.
In truth, one great activity is much better than an entire domain.
Be that as it may, I understood this truth past the point of no return, and
passing has me in its grip."
A large portion of the
"fruitful" men of this world have inhaled their last overpowered
with the inclination that they have been the best of disappointments.
We’re man to experience such sentiments in his prime, he would be
totally changed.
Very nearly demise, every one of the
brilliant qualities of the world show up pointless and useless.
Yet, while man lives, he is so charmed in them that he finds no
opportunity to dig more profound into the substances of life. He abandons
a world which he has lost, and past him is a world for which he
has made no arrangements. Soul of Islam Issue 35 November 2015 13
What is the benefit of waking up when passing is close by? The time
to do as such is preceding demise's methodology, when one is in a position to
act. In the event that this could happen, there would be less shamefulness and
abuse in the pretense of equity. In any case, before death
approaches, man is unwilling to give a misgiving to the
respectability of his activities. He continues doing everything he
can to fulfill his sense of self. What's more, when fleeting force and physical
quality fizzle him, he is lost for words.
Just when he finds that the
unwavering hands of the holy messengers of death
are certain, does he harp on every
one of his wrongdoings, in spite of the fact that the time to
consider this was while he was occupied with seeking after his childish
wishes. Be that as it may, around then, individuals, by and large, are
basically not willing to acknowledge any exhortation that would
avoid them from their false points and set them right way
